1What do you like most about Berkeley?

Berkeley is a firm that crafts great experiences for our talent and our clients. It does this by really leaning into the unique qualities of every person and circumstance, while bringing equal rigor and thoughtfulness to each relationship. I so appreciate how this intent shows up in Berkeley’s collaborative, proactive culture, and in the opportunities we take to spend time together as a full team—regardless of seniority or where we sit in the firm. Berkeley’s commitment to inclusion and development stands out, and helps create a community built on the same trust and transparency that we bring to our clients

2What core value or approach do you use to help clients achieve their aspirations?

I am a cultural bridge-builder and people-focused transformation leader. These values have often helped me in the goal of meeting clients where they are to understand the details of their aspirations, which involves depth of knowledge and trust to support decision making and to do what’s best for their business.

3What might people be interested in knowing about you?

I’ve been lucky to live across two cultures, as my family is spread across the US and Japan, and to be based in Asia, Africa, and North America over the course of my work life. I began my career building organizational capacity for nonprofits focused on sustainable development and arts education, and will always seek to bring a mission orientation to my work. I’m also an avid hiker, with some recent, stunning highlights being Tahoma/Mt. Rainier in Washington, and the Nā Pali coast in Kauai.
